First things first, he’s not a reverend, but the moniker Rev’rend has followed him from an early age. Growing up in a home driven by strong Christian beliefs and activity in local ministry, he quickly gained recognition as “the reverend” by his teachers and peers in grade school. That title would follow him throughout his music career.
He started playing the drums at the local church at the age of four. At the age of nine he took up the trumpet, with which he would earn several awards in the following decade. By the age of twelve he started teaching himself how to play the piano by ear. At fourteen he began producing music under the guidance Christopher Daubon and Ashley Stewart as a part of New Jersey’s OhZone Music Group. This led him to become a part of the production team, Trackhustlaz in the mid 2000s. With the group he was presented his first production deal with Eddie F and Untouchables Entertainment at the young age of 19. Since then he has worked on numerous projects and earned production and engineering credits on several recordings. Today, you can find him in the role of Music Director a local church and licensing his music for use in your favorite TV shows and films. His love for music has no limits. His productions reach into multiple genres. He and his team are writing, producing and engineering tomorrow’s songs; and providing live/studio design and installation services.
